Attacking enemies fills Dante's Devil Trigger gauge. Once the gauge is above the minimum threshold, Dante can activate Devil Trigger.

When active the Devil Trigger Gauge drains. [With Devil Trigger active,] Dante's health generates, and he has increased damage and armor.

Bonus style points are awarded for aerial combat while Devil Trigger is active.

While Devil Trigger is active, Dante earns bonus Style Points for performing long aerial combos.

While Devil Trigger is active, Dante's life regenerates. He also deals bonus damage, and takes reduced damage from enemy attacks.
