- Kat is a young girl who is part of "The Order." She has the ability to see into Limbo. Kat suddenly appears in front of Dante one day, seemingly with the purpose of helping him.

- Kat is 16-17 and a former runaway that joined Vergil's order very early in her life. She is a medium, a gifted psychic who can see into the demon realm but not directly interact with it in the way that Dante does. She is Vergil's right hand girl and devotes her very life to him, often putting herself in danger to gather intelligence for the demon realm. He describes her as his "eyes and ears" and is tasked with guiding Dante through the demon realm.
She is insular, quiet and precise in her social interactions - also strangely disarming with the honesty and openness of her answers. She has all the symptoms of Asperger's syndrome. There is a sweet innocence about her world view and logic but when it comes to her specialist subject, the demon realm, she is an outstanding expert.
However, all is not well with Kat and Vergil's relationship as her devotion is blinding her to his manipulative ways. She trusts him implicitly and Vergil uses this to his own ends.
As Dante spends much of his time with Kat, he grows sympathetic towards her as he discovers that she too is a victim. Over the course of the story, Kat will reveal real vulnerability. As she gets to know dante, she sees a humanity within him which is missing in Vergil. Dante makes her realise that Vergil is not the perfect being she believes him to be. He shatters the illusion for her.
Kat is symbolic of the innocence of humanity being victimised by the power struggles between demons, Dante and Vergil.

She is a woman who has been involved with an organization called "The Order" since she was a child, and has acted as a close aide to its leader.
She has a special ability that allows her to see into the demons lurking in the real world.
In the world of Limbo, one can exist as a spirit rather than a physical entity.
